Migration and Displacement Discussion Group
Friday 24 May 2019

PhD candidate Carly Gordyn and Associate Professor Bina D'Costa have started the ANU Migration and Displacement Discussion Group.

The Group held its first seminar on 24 May, delivered by Yasmin Khan from the University of Toronto. Yasmin presented her research on ‘The Unintended Consequences of Rohingya Humanitarian Aid on Bangladeshi Host Communities’.

Migration and displacement are inherently complex issues, inviting approaches from each and every discipline. The ANU Migration and Displacement Discussion group invites ANU researchers to come together to bridge disciplinary divides and engage in a wider conversation.

If you are interested in joining the Group, contact Carly Gordyn: carly.gordyn@anu.edu.au You may also want to sign up to the Group's newsletter.

The Group's next seminar will take place on Friday 7 June. See the ANU College of Asia and Pacific's website for more details.
